In a shocking move, the Tamil Nadu Education Minister has defended the practice in some schools where students are made to wear separate colour wristbands to identify them by their caste.
State Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan has said that he has asked officials not to implement the order by the department against making students wear wrist bands that identify their caste.
