In a video posted on his social media accounts today, Ric Flair spoke publicly for the first time since being hospitalized last month:

He said: “Hey, to all my fans out there, let it be known worldwide that Nature Boy — WOO! — is back up and running, looking as only I can look. I want to tell all my fans out there, thank you for all the love and support. And I will see you in the very, very, very, very, very, very near future. WOO!”

Flair was wearing a shirt that said “I ain’t dead yet motherf***ers” and included a link to his merchandise store where it’s on sale.

The video is another sign that Flair’s recovery is progressing. The latest update on his condition came earlier in the week when Wendy Barlow, Flair’s fiancee and formerly Fifi the Maid as an on-screen character in WCW, wrote that he was set to begin physical therapy shortly.

Charlotte Flair also returned on the road with WWE last weekend for the first time since her father’s health issues. She wasn’t on last Tuesday’s SmackDown, but WWE did post a video of her being interviewed by Renee Young backstage. She acknowledged that Flair has a long road ahead of him, but said that she wouldn’t be back if she didn’t think it was okay.
