– Note from Main Event: Damien Sandow is now Macho Mandow and wrestled Curtis Axel as Axelmania. The Ascension (as the bogus Road Warriors) hit the ring. There was mic work so the new Megapowers will face the new Legion of Dumb in a program.
Smackdown opened with Jerry Lawler interviewing King Barrett. As you can imagine, this was all about Barrett saying Lawler wasn’t a real king, because he never won King of the Ring. Barrett demanded Lawler say, “All Hail King Barrett.” Lawler refused. Barrett was going to give him a bull hammer but Dolph Ziggler made the save.
– Dolph Ziggler b King Barrett via DQ when Sheamus interfered. Neville made the save. This turned into a tag match.
– Dolph Ziggler & Neville b King Barrett & Sheamus when Ziggler pinned Sheamus
– Luke Harper b Fandango. Harper did the dance before the match. Erick Rowan is back as a heel attacking Fandango.
– Rusev & Lana came out. Lana was a huge babyface. Rusev wouldn’t let her talk and told her to leave. Rusev talked about John Cena and promised to make Cena quit Monday on Raw.
– New Day b Tyson Kidd & Cesaro & Ryback. The lights went out and Bray Wyatt was at ringside when they came out, distracting Ryback. Kidd ended up pinned.
– Naomi b Emma. Naomi & Tamina beat down Emma after the match.
– Lucha Dragons b Los Matadores
– The show ended with the contact signing of the four-way title match at Payback with Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton. Kane acted as the moderator and was the authority figure presiding over the contract signing. Rollins didn’t even want to come into the ring because there were three babyfaces there, and told Kane he could sign the contract for him. Kane refused to sign for him. Rollins then tried to turn all the babyfaces against each other bringing up all of them having troubles in the past. They ended up in another brawl. This time the faces all laid each other out until Rollins was the last man standing.
