The eighth annual St. Cloud State University Wrestling Golf Outing has been scheduled for Friday, Aug. 23 at Wapicada Golf Club in nearby Sauk Rapids, Minn. This fun-filled event helps support the intercollegiate wrestling program at St. Cloud State and the day will begin with registration at Noon on Aug. 23.
The cost for this year’s outing is $100 per person and it includes Includes green fees, cart, dinner, an outing gift, door prizes, raffles, golf prizes, silent auction and a chance to help support the nationally ranked SCSU wrestling team. Registration begins at Noon followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. A post-tournament social hour will start at 5 p.m. and dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Both teams and individuals are invited to sign-up for this year’s SCSU Wrestling Golf Outing.
“This event is an annual fundraiser for the St. Cloud State University wrestling program. By becoming a sponsor or participant, you will help expand opportunities for student-athletes on the SCSU wrestling team,” head coach Steve Costanzo said. “I look forward to your participation at this year’s event! In addition, I look forward to meeting and seeing our suporters at the golf outing and talking about the upcoming 63rd year of collegiate wrestling at SCSU. The 2013-14 SCSU wrestling campaign looks to be another good one for the Huskies.”
