We begin with Kevin Owens in the back and he is opening an envelope. He says that he was opening his bag and he found a card from Sami Zayn to Kevin’s son for his birthday. All Sami was going to send to his son was Twenty Canadian Dollars. Kevin says the money is going in his pocket while the card is getting thrown away. If Sami gets involved in his match with Dean Ambrose tonight, he is going to the hospital.

A limo arrives at the arena earlier today and Dana Brooke emerges with Charlotte. Charlotte tells Sasha she pulled off the biggest upset of her life on Monday beating Dana Brooke. She says that Sasha can go around with her costume jewelry, but she knows she cannot lace up Charlotte’s boots. Dana says that she is going to prove that lightning won’t strike twice.

Maryse is putting on some makeup and she does the same for the Miz. Miz says that he welcomes Bob Backlund and Darren Young to MizTV tonight. Bob will tell us why he thinks he can make Darren Young great again and he will tell Bob why he is wrong.

Dean says with the draft coming up, everyone’s future is in the air. Since his days on Smackdown might be numbered he is going to do one of favorite things with one of his least favorite people. Kevin Owens gets his ego shattered, his knee caps battered, and his face splattered all over the ring thanks to the WWE Champion.

Match Number One: Sasha Banks versus Dana Brooke (with Charlotte)

Sasha with a rollup for a near fall. Dana misses a punch and Sasha with a back slide. Sasha with a sunset flip and then she hits a double knee strike and she gets a near fall. Dana goes to the floor and hits a baseball slide. Charlotte distracts Sasha and Dana with a clip and knee to the head. Dana sends Sasha back into the ring and connects with forearms.

Dana chokes Sasha and snap mares Sasha before applying a rear chin lock. Dana with a clothesline. Sasha counters the Cradle Shock with a sunset flip. Sasha with flying forearms and she blocks a kick and follows with a forearm. Sasha is sent to the apron and she connects with a forearm and then she goes up top for a cross body and gets a near fall. Sasha misses a running double knee strike when Dana moves. Sasha is sent into the turnbuckles and Dana with an O’Connor Roll. Sasha rolls through. Sasha knocks Charlotte off the apron and then Dana with a rollup for a near fall. Sasha with the Banks Statement and Dana taps out.

Winner: Sasha Banks

After the match, Charlotte with a boot to Sasha and then Charlotte tosses Sasha over the announce table.

We are back and Lana introduces the Greatest United States Champion, Rusev.

Match Number Two: Rusev (with Lana) versus Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler goes for the leg but Rusev avoids it. Ziggler with a side head lock and Rusev punches Ziggler and kicks him in the corner. Rusev with more kicks and an Irish whip. Rusev runs into a boot and Ziggler tries for a drop kick but he does not hit it flush. Ziggler with a splash into the corner. Rusev catches Ziggler and slams him to the mat.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Rusev goes for a diving head butt off the turnbuckles but misses when Ziggler moves. Ziggler punches Rusev and kicks him. Rusev with a knee to the midsection. Ziggler with a kick and he tries for a Fameasser but Rusev catches him. Rusev drops him and Ziggler lands on his feet. Rusev with a power bomb for a near fall. Rusev misses a jumping side kick and Ziggler leaps on Rusev’s back and applies a sleeper. Rusev reaches for the ropes but cannot get there, but he is able to get Ziggler to release the hold.

Ziggler with a hesitation DDT and Fameasser for a near fall. Rusev sends Ziggler into the air and connects with a knee to the midsection and a round kick. Rusev says it is over so he rolls Ziggler over . . .

Zack Ryder’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and he walks past Lana. Ziggler leaps on Rusev’s back and Rusev with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex that sends Ziggler over the top rope. Rusev sends Ziggler into Ryder on the floor and then he sends Ziggler and Ryder back into the ring. Ziggler with a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

After the match, Rusev throws some of the turnbuckle pads away and then he grabs a chair and throws it at the ropes. Rusev continues to destroy the announce table.

We are back with a look at the confrontation between The Wyatt Family and New Day that aired on Raw.

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady make their way to the ring and they do their introduction.

Enzo says he is sick and tired of hearing The Club claim they are too sweet. He says you aren’t fooling anyone because at the end of the day, salt looks like sugar. The crowd wasn’t happy with that comment so he suggests there are a cup-a-hatas. Enzo says they are looking a little salty.
Colin says the last thing they want to do is hurt them before Battleground. Even if it is last on their list of things to do, it is on their list of things to do. They don’t have anything else to do so let’s do it.

Enzo says they are going to get in the ring and hit them with a Metamucil Haymaker and drop them like a deuce.

Colin says they will prove there is only one word to describe them and he will spell it out.

Match Number Three: AJ Styles and Karl Anderson (with Luke Gallows) versus Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady

Styles and Enzo start things off and they lock up. Styles with chops and Enzo with a head scissors and a leg trip and face plant for a near fall. Styles with a jaw breaker but Enzo with a drop kick and Colin tags in and so does Anderson. Colin with a forearm to Karl and splash to Styles. Colin with a shoulder tackle and slam followed by a leaping elbow drop. Colin with a back body drop to Styles and then he clotheslines Karl over the top rope to the floor. Enzo tags in and Colin press slams Enzo onto the Club.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Colin tags back in and he punches Anderson in the midsection. Colin with another punch to Anderson. Enzo tags in and he is tossed onto Anderson in the corner. Anderson with a punch and while the referee deals with Colin, Styles with a clothesline. Anderson with kicks to Enzo and the referee warns Anderson. Styles tags in and he punches Enzo.

Styles with more punches and an Irish whip and back breaker for a near fall. Styles sends Enzo into the turnbuckles and Anderson tags in. Anderson with a running boot to the head and he gets a near fall. Anderson punches Enzo in the head and tags Styles back in. Styles kicks Enzo in the ribs but Enzo punches back. Styles with punches and kicks. Enzo goes down to the mat and he wraps Enzo’s leg in the ropes and then he stomps on the back of the leg. Styles kicks Enzo in the hamstring and drops a knee onto the injured leg.

Anderson tags in and he pulls Enzo out of the corner and hits a leaping knee drop to the leg. Anderson gets a near fall. Styles tags back in and Enzo with some punches but Styles with forearms and a back fist. Styles with a leaping forearm into the corner and Anderson tags in. Enzo sends Anderson into the ringside barrier and then he blocks a kick from Styles and Enzo sends Styles face first into the apron.

Enzo gets back into the ring but Anderson with a flying knee to stop Enzo and send him to the floor. Enzo with jabs when he gets back into the ring but Anderson kicks Enzo in the leg. Enzo get a knee up when Anderson charges into the ring. Anderson with a slam and he misses a back senton when Enzo moves.

Styles tags in and he pulls Enzo out of his corner. Enzo with a tornado DDT and both men are down. Anderson comes in and the referee deals with him and that allows Gallows to pull Colin off the apron. Colin with a boot to Gallows but Anderson with a forearm off the steps to stop Colin. Anderson drops Enzo on the ropes and Styles applies the Calf Crusher and Enzo taps out.

Winners: AJ Styles and Karl Anderson

Match Number Four: Tyler Breeze (with Fandango) versus Kalisto (with Sin Cara)

Breeze runs Kalisto into the corner and punches Kalisto. Breeze with an Irish whip but Kalisto leaps over Breeze and connects with a shoulder and kick. Kalisto with a multi-jump arm drag using the ropes. Breeze pulls Kalisto off the ropes when Fandango distracts him. Breeze with a super kick and a series of near falls. Breeze argues with the referee and gets a near fall.

Breeze with a reverse chin lock. Kalisto with punches but Breeze with a knee and he tries for a suplex but Kalisto counters with an inside cradle and a near fall. Breeze with a drop kick for a near fall. Breeze punches Kalisto in the head. Breeze with another punch. Kalisto with a handspring to avoid a clothesline and Kalisto with a spinning back heel kick and corkscrew springboard cross body. Kalisto misses a boot to the head and Kalisto is sent to the apron.

Kalisto with an enzuigiri and he misses a springboard move. Breeze with a rollup for a near fall. Kalisto with Salida Del Sol for the three count.

Winner: Kalisto

We are back and Maryse is in the ring to introduce her husband The Miz.

Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV. He mentions next week is the WWE Draft and we will witness history. Miz brings out his guests. One has made history and the other is looking for his place in history, Darren Young and Bob Backlund.

Miz thanks both men for being here, but he talks about Bob Backlund’s accomplishments. We take a look at some footage of Bob Backlund from the WWE Network.

Miz says Bob has done it all and now he is going to instill his knowledge on Darren.

Miz wants to show the career highlights of Darren Young and there is a test pattern. Miz says he couldn’t find anything. He typed Darren’s name into the WWE Network search bar and it said ‘No Results Found’.

Darren says that is funny and he knows he can be a great champion with Mr. Backlund at his side. All he has to do is take that championship from Miz.

Miz says Darren didn’t WIN the Battle Royal as much as everyone else lost.

Bob tells Darren to look at Miz. He says Miz will never be a great champion. You have to be a great role model to be a champion.

Maryse tells Bob that 1980 call and said ‘You’re old’.

Miz says Bob looks like Howdy Doody with the wrestling knowledge of Forrest Gump.

Darren tells Miz you can disrespect him, but you cannot disrespect his mentor and life coach.

Everyone stands up and Miz tells Darren he needs to be taught a lesson by a champion from this century. Miz says he can teach him in a monologue.

Darren says he will teach Miz about respect when he beats him for the title at Battleground.

Miz tells Darren if he ever touches his microphone again . . .

Darren grabs the mic and asks Miz what will he do.

Miz and Maryse leave the ring.

Shane McMahon talks to R Truth in the back.

We are back and Sasha Banks is being checked out by the medical staff but she pops up when Charlotte and Dana Brooke enter the room. Charlotte says they are not here to start anything because they don’t know how much more Sasha can take. Charlotte says she will give Sasha her match at Battleground.

Sasha says she is shocked that Charlotte is giving her a title match at Battleground and she vows to win the Women’s Title.

Charlotte says she is not getting a title match, she is getting a tag team match so she can get a partner for the match.
Dana says the Boss doesn’t have any friends.

Before our main event starts, Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring.

Match Number Five: Kevin Owens versus Dean Ambrose in a Non Title Match

Owens hits Ambrose from behind when the bell rings but Ambrose with a cross body and Owens goes to the floor. Owens is sent into the announce table and then Ambrose gets in Rollins’ face. Ambrose punches Owens and then Rollins hits Ambrose and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Dean Ambrose (by disqualification)

After the match, Rollins attacks Ambrose and punches him in the ring.

Sami Zayn’s music plays and he comes to the ring to attack Owens and Owens and Rollins go to the floor.

What will happen next as we go to commercial.

Match Number Six: Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins versus Sami Zayn and Dean Ambrose

Ambrose knocks Rollins off the apron and Ambrose kicks Owens in the corner before going to the floor after Rollins. Ambrose sends Rollins into the ringside barrier but Owens sends Ambrose into the ringside barrier and he kicks Ambrose. Owens brings Ambrose back into the ring and Owens kicks Ambrose and connects with an elbow to the bridge of the nose.

Rollins tags in and he punches Ambrose. Rollins with punches and kicks. Rollins slams Ambrose and hits a knee drop and applies a rear chin lock and works on the neck. Ambrose kicks Rollins and punches him. Rollins with a back breaker. Owens tags in and he kicks Ambrose and he goes old timey punching motion to taunt Zayn. That gives Ambrose time to move on a back senton attempt. Rollins tags in and misses a splash into the corner. Zayn tags in and knocks Owens down on the apron and clotheslines Rollins. Zayn with a tornado DDT.

Rollins goes to the floor and then Zayn sends Owens to the floor. Dean and Sami with stereo pescados. Zayn sends Rollins into the ring and Owens grabs the leg and that allows Rollins to recover and hit Sling Blade and gets a near fall.

Rollins with shoulders in the corner and Owens tags in and he hits a neck breaker to the knee for a near fall. Owens stands over Zayn and kicks him in the head as we go to commercial.

We are back and Owens with a head lock. Zayn punches Owens but Owens with a back elbow and then he hits a back senton for a near fall. Owens with a kick to Zayn and Rollins slaps Zayn in the back of the head. Owens with a chop and Rollins tags in. Rollins with a chop and he chokes Zayn with his boot. Zayn with forearms but Rollins with a kick and Irish whip.

Rollins with a forearm as he charges into the corner. Rollins tells Ambrose to stay in the corner. Rollins with another forearm but Zayn with a Michinoku Driver and both men are down. Owens and Ambrose tag in and Ambrose with running forearms and a clothesline. Ambrose knocks Rollins off the apron. Ambrose punches Owens in the corner from the turnbuckles but Owens tries for an electric chair drop but Ambrose gets to his feet.

Ambrose with a belly-to-back suplex and then he goes up top for the elbow to the chest and he gets a near fall. Ambrose with a running forearm and Rollins makes the blind tag as Ambrose hits a bulldog. Rollins misses a springboard knee and Ambrose with a neck breaker for a near fall. Zayn with a drop kick to counter a pop up power bomb attempt. Rollins with an enzuigiri to Zayn and then he hits one on Ambrose but Ambrose bounces off the ropes and hits the clothesline.

Ambrose with a kick and he tries for the double underhook DDT but Rollins escapes and tries for a pedigree. Ambrose escapes and make the tag. Zayn with a cross body for a near fall. Rollins with a waist lock and Zayn with a standing switch. Rollins with elbows to block the Blue Thunder Bomb attempt. Zayn with an Exploder into the turnbuckles and he goes for a Helluva Kick on Owens but he moves. Ambrose with a suicide dive to Owens and Owens catches Ambrose and sends Ambrose into the ring steps. Rollins with a rollup and he kicks Zayn and tries for the Pedigree. Zayn with a wrist lock into a tornado DDT. Owens pulls Rollins out of the corner on a Helluva Kick attempt and Rollins with the Pedigree for the three count.

Winners: Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins

After the match, Owens sends Zayn to the floor and Owens goes for a power bomb onto the apron. Ambrose stops Owens and then he sees Rollins in the ring.

We have a stare down and Ambrose gets into the ring and Rollins with forearms. Ambrose takes Rollins down and Ambrose tries for the double underhook DDT but Rollins escapes and gets out of the ring.
