As first reported by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Chris Jericho will headline All Elite Wrestling’s 11/9 “Full Gear” pay-per-view at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.
The AEW World Champion will put his newly won title on the line against a man who has been electrifying each and every one of the fledgling promotion’s major events thus far – the “American Nightmare”, Cody Rhodes.
Of course, that’s all assuming that the legendary Y2J makes it to Baltimore with the world title around his waist. No, that’s no a dig at him losing the belt at a Longhorn Steakhouse… Prior to All Out, AEW had already announced that the first defense of the world title will take place on 10/16 in Philadelphia, which will be the third week of their television show on TNT.
Also scheduled for AEW Full Gear is Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley.
