The oft-verified account WrestleVotes is currently reporting that there’s been a “strong push” from the creative team to make a star out of whomever wins the 2019 men’s Money In The Bank briefcase. There is reportedly a feeling that the last two years have not showcased the MITB winners in a positive way.
In 2017, then-MITB winner Baron Corbin lost his cash in to WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. Then in 2018, Braun Strowman won the MITB contract, but his cash-in ended in a no contest when Brock Lesnar got involved.
