Two more matches have been officially confirmed for the upcoming debut of the NXT UK brand’s first ever Takeover event, set to invade Blackpool, England on Saturday, Jan. 12th.

The ongoing war between British Strong Style and the newly formed Gallus stable reached another peak this Wednesday night with back-to-back episodes of NXT UK programming. Tyler Bate and Trent Seven of Mustache Mountain scored a hard-fought and much-needed victory over Mark Coffey and Wolfgang to advance to Takeover: Blackpool, where they will fight another team TBD to determine the inaugural NXT UK Tag Team Champions.

In addition, Pete Dunne has answered the challenge of Gallus member Joe Coffey, who has been rampaging through the roster since the very start of the brand. The two will meet for the WWE UK Championship in less than two weeks time in what will be the Bruiserweight’s first defense of 2019.

As previously reported, 2018 Mae Young Classic winner Toni Storm will get a second chance at the NXT UK Women’s Championship, as she challenges quarterfinalist Rhea Ripley for the belt.
