** UPDATED STORY ** Newell has since revealed she won’t be able to compete at PROGRESS, which you can find out more about- here.

** ORIGINAL STORY **

Yesterday saw several rumors that a WWE NXT Superstar had been injured at Download Festival but thankfully that appears to not be the case.

Nixon Newell, who has recently been renamed (again) to Tegan Knox appeared to suffer an injury at the show, but that doesn’t appear to be the case as Knox posted on Instagram about her time at Download and is still set to compete at PROGRESS Wrestling today.

Knox has only just returned from an ACL injury and the fear was she had re-injured herself, but it appears that she was simply selling the old injury during the match.

#NXTDownload you were a blast! Thank you, guys and gals for being the absolute best 😘 #steffanienewell #DakotaKai #FlyKicks
