As we first reported yesterday, it appears as if WWE might be moving back to dual branded PPV events going forward, beginning with the WWE Backlash PPV taking place after WrestleMania 34.
Mike Killam’s report added that when WWE does a roster Draft, or in the case of 2017 a “Superstar Shakeup”, they generally like to do them as close to WrestleMania as possible in order to kick off the “new year” of wrestling with a fresh start. This could hint at the return of either the draft or the Superstar Shakeup if WWE intends to have stars from both Raw and Smackdown present at PPV events following WrestleMania.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, while WWE did not comment on the rumors of the company moving back to dual brand PPV events, an official announcement regarding the change is imminent.

Drew McIntyre Thanks HHH
As noted, WWE NXT star Drew McIntyre was inducted into the ICW Hall of Fame last night, and ICW founder Mark Dallas noted on Twitter that McIntyre thanked Triple H during his induction speech, thanking The Game for allowing him to appear at the induction:
Tonight @DMcIntyreWWE said that “we need to thank ICW’s big Uncle Paul for allowing me to be here” leading to the crowd chanting “thank you Uncle Paul.” So I take it that’s what we are referring to @TripleH as in ICW from now? 😂 #CheersUnclePaul #legend #TheMan
