After losing last night in the Elimination Chamber match and being eliminated by Braun Strowman (just like everyone else), it has been announced that “Free Agent” John Cena will be appearing at tomorrow night’s Smackdown Live from the Staples Center.

There is no word yet on what Cena will be doing at the show, but the last few weeks have been hard for Cena, as he continues talking about how he has no clear path on his road to WrestleMania. We reported yesterday that Cena even says that he will “Step Outside the WWE Etiquette” in order to get to WrestleMania. Cena also talked about trying to balance the opportunities that he is being offered outside of the ring, with his career and what he loves inside of the ring.

Cena has been heavily rumored to be taking on the Undertaker at WrestleMania, but one can imagine that Cena will take to Smackdown for a “second chance” at finding his path to WrestleMania, possibly even being inserted to the WWE Championship Match.

As of this writing, Cena has not been announced for tonight’s Raw following the Elimination Chamber Pay Per View.
