Enzo Amore will break his self-imposed “social media silence” this Monday night, for the first time since being released from his WWE contract in January of this year.

This weekend the former Cruiserweight Champion tweeted out a series of images simultaneously announcing his return to social media, thanking the fans that have supported him over the last few months, and wishing everyone a happy Memorial Day weekend. It’s not clear what Enzo has planned, but he’ll be dropping something this Monday night, May 28th, at 9:15 p.m. EST.

In late 2017, Amore (real name: Eric Arndt) was accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a young woman in Phoenix, Arizona. He was immediately suspended by WWE pending the results of an investigation, but was swiftly terminated after it came out in the media that he knew about the charges against him and failed to inform his employer.

As reported, the case has been officially dropped by the Phoenix P.D. due to insufficient evidence against Enzo, and a statement released by his attorney claimed that there had been no official charges levied against him. Despite the incident being wholly dismissed, it is unlikely fans will see Enzo back in a WWE ring any time soon.
