Reason Why Taryn Terrell Was Released From Impact Wrestling

As we noted two weeks ago, Impact Wrestling announced the sudden, and rather surprising release of Knockout Taryn Terrell.

Terrell was set to compete in the Fatal Four Way Knockouts Title match taking place at Bound for Glory, against Sienna, Gail Kim and Allie. Once Terrell’s Impact departure was announced, the Title match was changed to a Triple Threat.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason why Taryn Terrell was released from Impact Wrestling is because she is not allowed to travel into Canada. Because Impact is taping all of its future TV in Canada during the Bound for Glory week, the company had no choice but to release Terrell since they wouldn’t be able to use her on TV.

The Observer report adds the split between Terrell and Impact was amicable, and it’s certainly possible she could return to the company after all of the Impact Wrestling content taped in Canada airs on TV.
