Goal France report that FC Nantes have held a meeting with 25-year-old midfielder Abdoulaye Touré last week to resolve his future.
Their decision was to allow the player to leave this summer if a suitable bid is made.
Soccer Link report that Nantes have received two bids for the player from Germany, one from Mainz, who remain in discussions to sign him, and then an unknown 2nd side.
France Football suggest that that team may be Hoffenheim. However, Touré prefers a move to England, where Premier League side Burnley have long been admirers.
Under contract until 2022 with Les Canaris, FCN want at least €10m in order to let him go.
Mainz currently sit in pole position, with the player’s entourage having had direct conversations with the club’s Sporting Director Rouven Schröder.
