According to L’Équipe, AS Monaco striker Falcao could return from his loan spell at Chelsea early next month.
The player still has 2.5 years on his contract with Monaco remaining and is failing to receive adequate playing time at the London club.
The player’s representatives have therefore spoken about possibly bringing him back to Monaco so that he can kickstart his career again.
However, Get French Football News understands that AS Monaco would prefer Falcao to remain at Chelsea for the entirety of the previously-agreed loan spell as the incredible wages that the Colombian earns would seriously harm Monaco’s budget should they be burdened with them for the second half of the 2015/16 campaign.
L’Équipe believe that the player’s next destination could be the MLS, but their explanation and speculation with regards to that hypothesis are both weak and vague.
