Human lives are very fragile. Sometimes even a small injury can lead to fatal effects while at times, people end up surviving the worst of accidents with little or no injuries. These, are what people believeto be miracles.

In one such miraculous case of survival, 11-year-old boy Marivaldo Jose da Silva, from the north east of Brazilwas playing on a ladder outside his home. He fell on a barrel outside and ended up with a skewer piercing right through his heart, reported the Daily Mail. The rod meant for roasting ended up inside him, below his left shoulder blade and went out through the chest after penetrating his heart.
