BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Minnesota State University Moorhead junior Blake Bosch has been named to the All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference First Team in wrestling, the league announced on Friday.
The highest place-winner at the NCAA Regional Tournament from each weight class is named all-conference first team. The next highest NSIC finisher is named all-conference second team. Also, any NCAA Division II National Champion earns NSIC All-Conference First Team honors and any wrestler that earns NCAA All-American honors is recognized as second team all-conference.
Bosch finished 34-7 during his junior campaign and finished fourth in the nation at 133 pounds to earn the second straight All-American honor of his career. Bosch had a 25-match winning streak during the season and advanced to the semifinals at 133 pounds at the national championships.
The Wishek, N.D., native led the Dragons in wins and now has a collegiate record of 83-33.
St. Cloud State’s Clint Poster was NSIC Wrestler of the Year, while Brett Velasquez was NSIC Rookie of the Year. Steve Costanzo was named the Coach of the Year after guiding the Huskies to the national title.
