With Rey Mysterio now officially joining Smackdown Live as a wrestler, WWE was quick to post an article highlighting his upcoming appearances and stressing that he is returning as a “full-time” wrestler. As previously reported, Mysterio has signed a 2-year contract with WWE but he has an option to void the contract after 18 months. Below is what WWE had to say about Mysterio’s return and his schedule:
Rey Mysterio is back with WWE on a full-time basis, meaning that The WWE Universe will have the opportunity to see The Master Of The 619 live and in person in the very near future.
The masked marvel’s return begins on SmackDown 1000 next Tuesday when he faces Shinsuke Nakamura in a WWE World Cup Qualifying Match. In addition, WWE fans in the following cities will get to see Mysterio in action on the below dates:
Hartford, Conn. – Oct. 20th
Boston, Mass. – Oct. 21st
White Plains, N.Y. – Oct. 22nd
Cardiff, Wales – Nov. 3rd
Aberdeen, Scotland – Nov. 4th
Birmingham, England – Nov. 5th
