The Minnesota 9th Grade and Under Wrestling League (MNGWL) would like to invite your program to join the league this upcoming season. There were 122 wrestling programs participating this past season and we are hoping to add more. Every team is assigned to a region and has the option to wrestle the dual season and/or just send individuals to the individual section tournament. The cost of the league is $150.
MNGWL State Tournament Dates:
- MNGWL State Dual Meet Tournament is held at Hastings High School on Saturday January 18th, 2014.
- MNGWL State Individual Tournamet is held at Champlin Park High School on Saturday February 1st, 2014.
The MNGWL consists of 14 weights: 94, 100, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 189 & HWT.
All matches wrestled in the MNGWL count towards the individual wrestler’s 36 match limit.
MNGWL weigh ins do not count towards a wrestler’s section weigh ins.
