On Monday, Cody Rhodes received the results of the MRI scan that was done on his injured knee.

Cody suffered a large meniscus tear while working the recent Ring Of Honor (ROH) “Global Wars” event in Buffalo, New York. The injury occurred when Cody pivoted his foot wrong and heard a loud “pop.”

The injury will require arthroscopic surgery.

Cody took to social media on Monday afternoon to comment on the condition of his knee.

“GOOD news is my doctor is fairly confident that my mcl/pcl/acl are structurally sound,” wrote Cody via his official Twitter page. “BAD news is the meniscus is fairly damaged, gonna’ require a scope. No dates will be adjusted at the moment, and I’ll definitely still compete in the [ROH Final Battle] main event & at [NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13].”
