The Usos made their return to WWE last week to help Roman Reigns, and this week they spoke on WWE’s After The Bell to reflect on their return.
Before discussing their comeback, Corey Graves touched on the mistakes and issues that the brothers had in 2019, with Jimmy Uso reflecting on them and the constant pressure of being on the road.
“We are human beings, and we make mistakes. The Usos make mistakes, and everybody knows about it. We never really had the chance to sit still because we stay moving so fast. The road keeps ongoing. We never sat still and got to realise, when you mess up it trickles down. The people it trickles too are your close ones, your family, your kids, people you really rock with and you start to lose focus of that.
“That’s where it got hard, just enjoying what we are doing, it started to get rough. You need to take time for yourself to slow down and that’s exactly what we did. We took the time, slowed down.”
Speaking of their return from this week, Jimmy admitted that he spent the day being incredibly nervous beforehand.
“I was telling my brother all day, it’s like the first day of school, I was nervous all day. I had the shakes in my legs all the way up to Gorilla.”
Jey, on the other hand, was more relaced and stated that the fresh version of them is going to make this year a success.
“This is what we do, the polluted us compared to us now, this is going to be a cakewalk. 2020 is going to be the year of The Usos. Walking through the back and seeing the boys, that was love and I felt that, on a shoot.”
Jimmy also commented on what it was like bringing The Bloodline back together and returning to help Roman Reigns.
“When I walked through that curtains it was like being right back home. The Bloodline feels like home, as soon as you get back together you click, that’s how it is with us and Roman whenever we get together it’s like we never left.”
