The WWE NXT brand has historically done a tremendous job finding ways to amplify their Takeover events with appropriately great theme songs, and the upcoming NXT Takeover: New York live special looks to be no different.
Triple H himself took to Twitter today to announce the TWO theme songs for this April’s event, including a return to the grungier days of bands like Disturbed rocking early 2000s pay-per-views. Disturbed will indeed be one of the two themes with their new song “Are You Ready” off the 2018 album “Evolution”.
The other song will be more in their vein of NXT’s usual abstract find, with “You Should See Me In a Crown” by 17-year-old viral pop sensation Billie Eilish, off her upcoming album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” due out on March 29th.
New York is the city that never sleeps…so we’re going to make sure #NXTTakeOver is #NXTLOUD. @Disturbed @BillieEilish #WeAreNXT pic.twitter.com/l5yDeuSK3B
