Juventus have officially confirmed that they’ll sign Aaron Ramsey this summer, with his contract at Arsenal expiring at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old will end an 11-year stint with the Gunners, as he’s now set to embark on a new challenge in Turin, as confirmed in Juve’s tweet below.

Further, as per the club’s statement, they have confirmed that the Welshman has penned a four-year contract which will keep him at the club until 2023, as he will join them on July 1.
It’s a disappointing scenario for Arsenal fans, as Ramsey has continued to establish himself as a key figure even this season despite question marks over his future.
Particularly in terms of losing him on a free transfer, Unai Emery will now have to find a replacement this summer without the funds that could arguably have been raised from an earlier sale.
From a Juventus perspective though, it’s a sensible signing to bolster their midfield, with Massimiliano Allegri looking to ensure that the reigning Serie A champions continue to compete on multiple fronts moving forward.
With neither Blaise Matuidi nor Sami Khedira getting any younger, Ramsey will offer a long-term option in midfield alongside the likes of Rodrigo Bentancur and Miralem Pjanic, while he’ll have a great chance of winning major honours given Juve are aiming for an eighth consecutive title this season.
As per BBC Sport, it has been suggested that Ramsey will earn a whopping £400,000-a-week at Juventus, making him the highest paid British player of all time.
However, that has yet to be officially confirmed by the club, albeit it’s unlikely that such information will be shared in the public domain.
