As announced by Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan, the main event of next week’s episode of Smackdown Live will feature Kevin Owens taking on his “best friend” Sami Zayn, with the winner getting a WWE Championship opportunity at WWE Fastlane.

The leaders of the “YEP” movement pleaded with the leader of the “YES” movement, saying they were cheated and Bryan sympathized with them. He informed them that they would be getting their title shot, but swerved the best friends by throwing them into a match against each other to see who would be moving on to take on WWE Champion, AJ Styles.
